Shipping Policy

Processing & Dispatch Times

Standard Processing

  • In-stock items: Processed within 1-2 business days
  • Pre-orders: Shipped upon manufacturer release
  • Custom/Special orders: Processing time varies, communicated at purchase

Dispatch Schedule

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. Orders placed after business hours or on weekends will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Timeframes

Republic of Ireland

  • Standard Tracked Shipping: 1-2 working days via UPS
  • Same Day Delivery (Dublin only): Available Monday-Friday by 9pm, weekends by 6pm
  • Click & Collect: Available same day for orders placed before 10am

International Shipping

  • United Kingdom: 3-4 working days via UPS
  • European Union: 4-5 working days via UPS
  • Rest of World: 4-5 working days via UPS

Note: Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, public holidays, weather conditions, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Free Shipping Eligibility

Republic of Ireland: Free tracked shipping on orders €75 and over

International Shipping

Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Destination country
  • Selected shipping method

Stack My Order Feature

Customers may combine multiple orders to reduce shipping costs:

  • In-stock items held for up to 30 days
  • Pre-orders with similar release dates may be combined
  • After 30 days, automatic shipping applies for orders over €75
  • Orders under €75 require shipping payment or face cancellation with €2.50 fee

Geographic Limitations

We ship to most countries worldwide. Restricted destinations will be indicated at checkout. For unlisted countries, contact us for a custom shipping quote.

Product Restrictions

Prohibited Items

We cannot ship items prohibited by:

Risk Transfer & Delivery

Republic of Ireland: Risk transfers upon delivery to the specified address International Orders: Risk transfers upon handover to international carrier

Delivery Requirements

  • Signature required for all tracked shipments
  • Safe drop available where carrier deems secure
  • Redelivery attempted per carrier policy
  • Collection points available through carrier network

Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed:

  1. Package held at local depot/collection point
  2. Customer notified by carrier
  3. Collection period as per carrier terms
  4. Uncollected packages returned to sender
  5. Customer responsible for return shipping costs and redelivery fees

International Shipping Terms

Customs & Duties

  • EU customers: VAT included at checkout, no additional fees
  • Non-EU customers:
    • Prices shown excluding local taxes
    • Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are customer's responsibility
    • Fees determined by destination country customs
    • Payment required before delivery in most jurisdictions

Customs Declarations

All international shipments include accurate customs declarations. Customers may not request false or reduced value declarations.

Restricted/Prohibited Items

International shipments subject to:

Tracking & Communication

Tracking Information

  • Tracking number provided via email upon dispatch
  • Real-time tracking available through carrier website
  • Delivery notifications sent by carrier
  • Pre-order updates provided as information becomes available

Address Changes

  • Address changes accepted before dispatch
  • No changes possible once package is in transit
  • Customers responsible for providing accurate shipping information

Damaged or Lost Packages

Damage in Transit

If packages arrive damaged:

  1. Inspect package immediately upon delivery
  2. Note damage on delivery receipt
  3. Contact us within 48 hours with photos
  4. Retain all packaging materials
  5. We will coordinate with carrier for resolution

Lost Packages

For packages marked as delivered but not received:

  1. Check with household members and neighbours
  2. Verify delivery address accuracy
  3. Contact carrier directly within 24 hours
  4. File police report if theft is suspected
  5. Contact us with carrier reference number

Insurance & Claims

  • All shipments include basic carrier insurance
  • Additional insurance available upon request
  • Claims processed according to carrier terms
  • Resolution time varies by carrier and claim complexity

Special Shipping Services

Same Day Delivery (Dublin)

  • Available Monday-Friday: delivery by 9pm
  • Available weekends: delivery by 6pm
  • Orders must be placed by 10am
  • Service provided by Xpect Same Day Delivery
  • Subject to additional terms and conditions

Click & Collect

  • Available at U Store It office reception
  • Orders ready same day if placed before 10am
  • Collection during business hours only
  • Valid ID required for collection
  • 14-day collection period before return to stock

Showroom Appointments

  • 24-hour advance notice required
  • Payment on collection available
  • Subject to showroom opening hours
  • Appointment confirmation required

Carrier Responsibility

We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by:

  • Carrier handling or delivery issues
  • Customs delays or inspections
  • Weather or natural disasters
  • Strikes or labour disputes
  • Government actions or regulations

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information
  • Being available for delivery
  • Paying applicable customs fees
  • Inspecting packages upon delivery
  • Reporting issues within specified timeframes
