"Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"
George Barris turned a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car into the Batmobile in fifteen days for fifteen thousand dollars, which remains the best value for money in Hollywood history. Hot Wheels finally gave it a mainline casting in 2007 as a First Edition. Gloss black die-cast, red pinstriping down the flanks, blue-tinted bubble canopy and a chrome interior sitting under it. Number 015 of 156 for the year, 15 of 36 in the First Editions run.
