"Chicks love the car."
Joel Schumacher asked for a Gotham lit up like a fever dream, and production designer Barbara Ling handed him a Batmobile with a glowing ribcage. It is the strangest car the franchise has ever put on screen, part hot rod, part deep sea creature, and 1995 kids adored it. Kenner's version is a foot and a half of exactly that silliness: chassis and cockpit light up, the tail guns pop, the rear wings split open. Val Kilmer only got to drive it once.
