The Dark Knight Returns was one of the first books DC put out in prestige format, squarebound on decent paper instead of stapled newsprint, because in 1986 somebody finally worked out adults were buying these. Frank Miller's Superman is the government's man in blue, thick-necked and slightly sad about it, and DC Direct built the figure to match. Heavy build, grim face, yellow belt, fabric-look red cape. The interlocking street base clips to the rest of the wave if you ever track them down.
