The 1966 Topps Batman cards were painted by Norm Saunders, the same man behind Mars Attacks, which explains why they look like a caped crusader wandered into a horror set. Topps reprinted all 143 of them in 1989 to ride the Batmania wave, then pumped out two waves of glossy movie cards from the Keaton film alongside. Three boxes, three different flavours of Batman, one lot. Two sets untouched in their factory seals and one opened box that is four cards short of the full run.
