Peter David's run gave us the definitive 90s Aquaman: long hair, full beard, harpoon hand and zero patience for surface-world nonsense. The lighthouse keeper's son turned King of the Seven Seas, ruling three-quarters of the planet from Atlantis and looking thoroughly unimpressed about it. McFarlane's JLA Build-A wave captured this exact look, all silver shoulder armour and the gold hook hand replacing the one he lost. The Build-A piece for Plastic Man has wandered off, but the figure itself is one of the more characterful Aquamans on the market.
