Mark Waid and Alex Ross's Kingdom Come gave us one of the heaviest Batman designs ever put on a page. Bruce Wayne in full mechanical exoskeleton, holding Gotham together with a robot army while the rest of the metahuman world tears itself apart. The armoured suit covers the toll the years have taken on his body, but the strategic mind underneath is still ten steps ahead of everyone, including Luthor. McFarlane's release gets the bulky armoured silhouette right and comes with the articulated wings attached for that full Kingdom Come pose. An epic shelf piece for any Batman collector.
