Leonard Boyarsky drew Vault Boy back in 1997 for the first Fallout, taking cues from old ad mascots like Monopoly's Rich Uncle Pennybags. Trick or Treat Studios have gone further back still. This is a hard plastic face mask in the old dime-store Halloween style, elastic strap and all, right down to that grin and the sweep of yellow hair. Wear it, or hang it on the wall next to the Nuka-Cola. Vault-Tec would approve of the cost-cutting.
