Paul Frees voiced the Ghost Host, and the same throat also gave the world Boris Badenov and the Pillsbury Doughboy, which is quite a range. The Mansion opened at Disneyland in 1969 after roughly eighteen years of arguing about whether it should be funny or frightening. They went with both. This Pop is the mummy from the graveyard scene, bandaged, propped up with his cup of tea, one of the 999 happy haunts and in no rush at all.
