Morph was brought in to be the one who dies. The 1992 X-Men cartoon killed him off in its opening two-parter just to show the stakes were real, then spent years bringing him back because fans wouldn't let it go. The Age of Apocalypse took the idea and ran, turning Kevin Sydney into the team's wisecracking shapeshifter. This figure has the Age of Apocalypse look, blue bodysuit, yellow gloves and a flowing purple and red cape. A face only a mimic could love.
