"Cringer never had a say in any of this."
Battle Cat started life in a completely different toy line. Mattel already had a tiger mould sitting there from Big Jim, so they painted it green and orange, gave it armour and had themselves a mount. The same body turned up again a year later in purple flock as Panthor. Underneath it all he is still Cringer, who spends the cartoon hiding behind furniture until Adam points a sword at him and ruins his afternoon. Origins brings the 1982 shape back with joints and an opening jaw.
