"Five years late to her own toy line."
Mattel took until 1987 to make her, and then only as a mail-away offer, so kids had to post off proof of purchase and wait, which is why the vintage one now costs more than most of Castle Grayskull's actual residents. Filmation had already made her the quiet centre of the whole thing, guardian of the castle and keeper of the secret that she is Teela's mother. Origins finally puts her on a retro card where she should have started.
