Dungeons and Dragons turned fifty in 2024, half a century after Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson cooked it up in 1974. To mark it, NECA and WizKids have reissued the old LJN heroes, and Elkhorn the dwarf fighter is back on the shelf with modern articulation but the original's stubby, sturdy charm. Retro colours, nostalgic blister card. He arrives battle-ready with a sword, shield and a dagger that tucks into his belt sheath. Natural 20 stuff.
