Spielberg shot E.T. roughly in sequence and kept the full puppet away from the young cast where he could, so the wonder on their faces would be real. Six-year-old Drew Barrymore reportedly half-believed E.T. was alive. This deluxe NECA figure leans on the heart of it with a light-up LED chest, just like the film. He comes with the big "phone home" communicator rig, a potted plant with flowers, and interchangeable necks and hands to get the neck-stretch just right. Batteries included, for once.
