"Nobody said Cowabunga in the comics."
Cowabunga never appears in the Mirage comics. The cartoon borrowed it from Chief Thunderthud on Howdy Doody by way of surfers, and it stuck to Michelangelo for good. The comic version is nothing like that. This is Mikey in Return to New York, out for the same revenge as his brothers, and NECA kits him with the nunchucks, a kusarigama, throwing stars, spare hands, an extra mask tie, space cuffs and a Mouser to keep as a trophy.
