Jack Pierce spent roughly eight hours wrapping Boris Karloff in cotton, clay and collodion for the opening scene, and Karloff later called it the most trying day of his career. He is on screen in the bandages for about a minute. The rest of the film he plays Ardath Bey, the dried-out Egyptian in the fez, and this Ultimate covers both with three swappable heads. Scroll of Thoth, oil lamp, cane and dagger all included.
