Wes Craven borrowed the name Fred Krueger from a kid who bullied him at school, which is one way to settle a score. This was the first licensed talking Living Dead Doll ever made, and Freddy has seven lines from the films ready to go at the push of a button hidden on his back. He wears the striped sweater from the 1984 original, with his razor glove and a removable fedora. Leave the button alone after midnight.
