"Echo Three to Echo Seven. Han, old buddy, do you read me?"
The Wampa gets barely a few seconds on screen because the suit never convinced Kershner, so he cut it down to claws, shadows and one quick swipe, and ILM went back and shot fresh Wampa footage for the 1997 re-release. This is Luke just after that run-in, minus the face full of snow. Brown headband trailing down his back, quilted tan vest, white cold weather suit, olive boots and his Hoth rebel rifle. The Palitoy 41-back card comes with him, bubble long gone.
