Underneath the helmet it often wasn't Pedro Pascal at all. For much of the first series the man in the armour was stunt double Brendan Wayne, John Wayne's grandson, which explains why a Star Wars bounty hunter moves like he's about to clear out a saloon. This is Mando in his scrappy first-season kit, mismatched plates from before the full beskar upgrade, with the Carbonized finish giving the whole lot a molten copper sheen. Shiny. He'd hate it.
