Zangief was named after Victor Zangiev, a real Soviet freestyle wrestler who went over to New Japan Pro Wrestling in the late eighties. Capcom borrowed the name, then added the chest hair and the bear wrestling. Storm Collectibles have the Street Fighter 6 version, poseable, with three spare heads so you can pick your level of shouting, a tray of swappable hands, and two clear effect pieces for the Cyclone Lariat. No fireball. Never needed one.
