Larry Hama's origin gave Cobra Commander a past as a failed used-car salesman who turned his grudge into a global terror organisation, which is still the most relatable villain backstory ever written. Shredder takes the blue uniform and the silver faceplate, and Playmates have kept his own bladed gauntlets on the arms. 12.7cm, 20 points of articulation, and a small armoury with it: retro-mutagen ray, katana, two ninja stars, a kyoketsu-shoge knife and a fist dagger.
