In October 2024, Terrifier 3 did the unthinkable and topped the US box office on its opening weekend, knocking Joker: Folie à Deux off the number one spot. Not bad for an unrated indie about a mute killer clown. Art is the grinning ghoul behind that run, all monochrome greasepaint, rotten teeth and silent-movie menace. David Howard Thornton plays him without a single line of dialogue. This LDD Presents version captures that wide, delighted leer, dressed in his black-and-white costume with pom-poms and ruffle collar, meat cleaver in hand.
