Tobe Hooper came up with the whole film while stuck in a packed hardware store one Christmas, staring at a rack of chainsaws and thinking of a faster way out. This is the face that came out of it. The Killing Mask is the one Leatherface wears for the hunt, the one that bursts through that sliding steel door. Sculpted by Connor Deless in hard-wearing vinyl, with the stitched seams, heavy brows, shaggy hair and leather ties all present.
