Brendan Fraser nearly died making this one. During the gallows scene the rope pulled too tight and he was choked out for real, waking up to a medic and a very quiet crew in 1999. Toy Island answered that with a 6-inch Cursed Mummy, Imhotep in shambling half-rotted form, sold to kids whose parents definitely had not previewed the film. Boxed or loose depending on what you fancy. Late-nineties tie-in plastic, back when a mummy on the shelf counted as a toy.
