"He slimed me."
Lorenzo Music voiced Venkman for the first two seasons of The Real Ghostbusters, and viewers kept saying he sounded exactly like Garfield. He did. Same guy. Years later Bill Murray voiced Garfield on film, closing a loop nobody asked for. Kenner's 1986 line put cartoon Venkman on pegs across the world and he was always the first one grabbed.
