Hergé named Snowy "Milou" after Marie-Louise Van Cutsem, a girlfriend he called Malou, which is a lot of romance to hang on a dog with a bone in its mouth. Here he is anyway, alongside Tintin in the blue jumper and the two detectives you can only tell apart by their moustaches. Thompson's flares out at the ends, Thomson's runs straight.
