Someone at a network in 1991 watched The Toxic Avenger, an 18-rated Troma splatter comedy about a mop-wielding mutant, and decided it should be a Saturday morning cartoon for children. Toxic Crusaders ran thirteen episodes. Dr Killemoff was the Smogulan behind the smog, and this one keeps the gag: pull off the disguise and the backpack and the alien face underneath is waiting. Comes with the Proton Energizer and a glow in the dark weapon.
