Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson started out as a bit-part suit back in Iron Man in 2008, then quietly became the glue holding the whole Marvel machine together. This is him from The Avengers, the unflappable agent who fanboys over Captain America one minute and squares up to a god the next. Loki found out the hard way: never corner the quiet one. Black suit, calm face, and the prototype that caught even him off guard.
