"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
Warner Bros were sent something like 50,000 letters of complaint about Michael Keaton being cast, then the film went and became the biggest of 1989. Paul Lamond rushed this board game out on the back of it. You pick Batman or the Joker, race around Gotham for a secret Destination card, and settle arguments with a dice roll wherever the two sides land on the same square. Six tokens, four decks, one die, and the Axis Chemical Factory as a home base. All present.
