"Hi, I'm Chucky. Wanna play?"
Chucky's wholesome Good Guy disguise was a dig at the era's talking-doll craze, the My Buddy dolls every 80s kid pestered their parents for, except this one had other ideas. This Dream Rush bank from Japan captures that clean, freckled, pre-scars look from the early films: rainbow-striped jumper, blue Good Guys dungarees and red trainers. The head bobs and a coin slot hides round the back. Innocent face, decidedly less innocent reputation.
