"Art deco, black skies and one very angry man."
The animators painted the backgrounds on black paper instead of white, which is why Gotham never quite gets to morning. The crew called it dark deco and it changed how cartoon cities have looked ever since. McFarlane's DC Multiverse take on Kevin Conroy's Batman lands the long ears, the grey suit and that heavy cape, poseable enough for a decent rooftop brood. Pre-owned, so the photographs show what is included.
