The golden eagle armour was not dreamed up for the film. Alex Ross painted it for Kingdom Come #3 back in 1996, Mark Waid's story about ageing heroes and a very bad future, and it sat in the comics for over twenty years before Patty Jenkins strapped it onto Gal Gadot for the WW84 finale. McFarlane have kept the wings spread and the gold heavy, poseable enough to hang mid-flight over your shelf. Asteria's old kit, borrowed by Diana, and it still fits.
