When Howard Carter opened Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, he found a black jackal lying on a gilded chest, guarding the Treasury. Four Horsemen shrank that shrine down and boxed it with this Anubis. There's a wooden leopard head in here too, which suits a god who, according to the box, killed Set in leopard form and wore his skin as a warning. Three heads, one calm jackal, one growling and one straight off the temple statues, plus human or jackal feet. Guardian of the Scales. Now guarding a shelf.
