"Everybody calls him Pimp Daddy Destro."
In 1994 Hasbro sent out a mail-away Destro in purple and gold with a leopard print cape, and collectors named him Pimp Daddy Destro inside a week. The nickname stuck so hard that Hasbro eventually made this fan channel figure as a straight tribute and gave it a respectable job title instead. Gold Cobra briefcase, sunglasses, gold pistol with holster and a flame effect of money going up in smoke. An arms dealer who decided the outfit mattered more than the coup.
