Robert Remus was a working WWF wrestler when Hasbro asked to put him in the toy line in 1985, which makes Sgt Slaughter the one G.I. Joe based on a real man who could turn up and prove it. He voiced himself in the cartoon and again in the 1987 movie, campaign hat and all. This set gets the aviators, the whistle, the instructor baton, eight swappable hands and a tiny carded Sgt Slaughter figure sealed in its own packet. A toy, inside a toy.
