David Gordon Green's 2018 Halloween did the one thing the sequels never dared: it threw out forty years of tangled continuity and picked up the night Michael came home, as if nothing in between ever happened. Trick or Treat Studios pulled their mask straight from the movie master mould, then aged it to match four decades on the run. Full head latex, every weathered crease in place. Pull it on and you are the Shape. Standard or bloody edition from the film's final stand.
