"The playset that ruined more carpets than any other."
Mattel first unleashed the Slime Pit on kids in 1986, a grinning green skull you poured gunk through onto your figures. The 200X version brings the gross-out gimmick back for the reboot era, with a rocky pit, a trapdoor throne and a snake tower standing guard over the muck. It landed in 2003, right as the relaunch was running out of road, which is why playsets from this end of the line take some hunting down. Carpet owners were warned.
