The 1983 Man-E-Faces changed faces when you turned a dial on top of his helmet, and every kid stopped halfway to make him look broken. In the Filmation cartoon he was an actor, which explains a lot. Human, robot or monster, depending on the mood. The New Eternia deluxe version keeps the red and green, the face-swapping gimmick and the identity crisis. Nobody is quite sure which one is the real him, including him.
