"Something's in the water."
Mer-Man's voice in the 1983 cartoon was Lou Scheimer, the head of Filmation himself, gargling through every line because the studio was saving money on cast. Revelation gave him a full redesign decades later, all barnacled hide and torn fins, and Masterverse turned that into a display piece. He was always Skeletor's most disposable henchman. Nobody ever told him. Still turning up, still furious, still the reason nobody swims in Eternia.
