H.P. Lovecraft thought so little of his Herbert West stories that he wrote them purely for the paycheck, churning out a serial he considered hackwork. Funny, then, that they birthed one of horror's great cult films. Stuart Gordon's 1985 Re-Animator turned Jeffrey Combs into the genre's favourite mad medic, all glowing green reagent and deadpan nerve. NECA's clothed 8-inch West comes lab-coated and loaded with his kit, his cat Rufus, and the unfortunate colleague who got on his wrong side.
