"The runt went hunting anyway."
Predator: Badlands flipped the series on its head in 2025 by making a Predator the hero. Dan Trachtenberg, back after Prey, cast New Zealander Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek, a young Yautja thrown out by his clan and left on the nastiest planet going. Elle Fanning turns up as a synthetic missing her whole lower half, which is a very Predator way to make a friend. This Pop and Buddy set has Dek in his bronze helmet and armour, with little Bud, the goggle-eyed green creature, tagging along beside him.
