Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween took the blank-faced blankness of Carpenter's original and went the other way entirely — giving us Michael Myers as a towering, feral, backstory-heavy monster played by Tyler Mane. The mask in this version is the aged, rotted one Michael digs out from beneath his childhood home, and Trick or Treat Studios' full-head latex version was developed using the film-used master mould direct from Wayne Toth, the Special Effects artist who made the masks for the film. That's as close to the real thing as you'll get outside a film vault.
