"Fencing."
Sulu went nearly thirty years without a first name on screen. Hikaru came out of a Vonda McIntyre novel and wasn't spoken aloud until Star Trek VI. John Cho got to use it straight away in the 2009 reboot, along with the collapsible sword he unfolds on the Vulcan drill platform after admitting his combat training is fencing. This Galaxy Collection release has him in the gold command tunic with phaser and badge stand. Best helmsman in Starfleet, allegedly.
