Ahmed Best spent The Phantom Menace walking through every scene in a motion reference suit so the animators had something to trace. The result was the first fully computer-generated main character in a live-action film, and the most argued-about Gungan in history. Hasbro's Black Series version hands him the premium six-inch treatment nobody in 1999 saw coming, part of the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary run from 2021. Still sealed. Love him or not, he made the cut.
