Luke walks into Jabba's palace dressed head to toe in black, and that was deliberate. The costume team put him in dark colours to hint he might not come back from the edge. This is the cloak that finished the look, the early snap-fastener version Kenner used before switching to a stitched neck. It is one of the parts most often missing from a loose Jedi Knight Luke, and the one most often swapped for a reproduction. This one is not.
