"Before the barrel, he was just Melvin."
Toxie began life as Melvin, a scrawny health club mop boy, before a prank sent him through a window into a drum of toxic waste and Troma got its mascot. The 1991 cartoon cleaned him up for children, which is where most collectors met him. Trick or Treat Studios have done the mutated head as a full over-the-head mask with all the lumps intact, and it glows in the dark, so the horror continues after lights out.
