The Real Gear Robots never actually appeared in the 2007 film. Hasbro's in-universe fix was that the All Spark blast over Mission City woke up every bit of consumer electronics nearby, so a pocket camera got up and joined the Decepticons. Spy Shot 6 is the quiet one of that bunch, a compact digital camera with a perfect memory and a lens that fires laser-intensity light beams. Built at 1:1, so he is the exact size of the thing he is pretending to be.
