Sam Raimi sent Ash back to 1300 AD in 1992, and the Pit Witch is the cackling deadite hag Bruce Campbell gets tossed underground with, all gnashing teeth and bad intentions. Justin Mabry sculpted this one large and imposing, latex with synthetic fibre hair, the kind of grotesque crone face that earns its place mounted like a trophy on the game-room wall. Loud, ugly and gleefully nasty, exactly what the Evil Dead trilogy's medieval chapter does best. Slap it on and let the deadites come.
