"Gone, gone, the form of man, rise the demon Etrigan!"
Kirby created Etrigan in 1972 and never once had him rhyme. That came later, from Alan Moore over in Swamp Thing, and now nobody can picture the Demon speaking any other way. This is his Demon Knights look, Paul Cornell's New 52 run that dropped Etrigan into the Dark Ages beside Vandal Savage and Madame Xanadu. Full plate armour, scaled mail, the ruby chest piece and that grey cape. Yellow skin included at no extra charge.
