Grunt was one of the original thirteen in 1982, put there so the flashier Joes had somebody ordinary to stand next to. Forty years on he is still holding the line and still nobody's favourite until the moment you actually need him. Hasbro have finally handed him decent gear: two helmets including a visored one with a face guard, an M16-style rifle, a battle rifle, a pistol, a spare magazine, a combat knife and a backpack. Eight pieces for a man with no gimmick at all.
